Buckingham

Took a trip over to Buckingham yesterday, a typical small English market town, situated in north Buckinghamshire, close to the borders of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. The town has a population of 12,043 (Census 2011) and is also a civil parish designated as a town council.
Buckingham was declared the county town of Buckinghamshire in the 10th century when it was made the capital of the newly formed shire of Buckingham until Aylesbury took over this role early in the 18th century.

As usual the following photos are available to buy in a variety of formats, from beautiful stretched canvas or acrylic prints to  greeting cards at Fine Art America or Photo4Me.
