Africa From A to Z - O

Today we move on to the letter O and look at a couple of Ostriches, one in Zimbabwe and the other in the Serengeti. Staying in Tanzania we then take a look at the Olduvai Gorge.

Ostrich in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

Ostrich on the Serengeti, Tanzania.

Olduvai Gorge, dubbed the ‘cradle of mankind, is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. The site was designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1979 for its outstanding ecological and geological value.
