Barbie Corbett-Newmin has “been an artist” for decades and has sold creative works as an oil painter, water colorist, ceramic artist, copper enameler, and photographer.

Barbie’s passion for travel means her eclectic photography represents a worldwide quest for broadened horizons.
Runner Up in Eye on Fine Art Photography magazine's desert Landscape contest and shown in the September 2014 issue.
Much of her professional graphic arts experience was as an employee or owner of award-winning Detroit advertising agencies. Advertising and marketing was her career throughout the seventies to mid nineties.
This original streetscape photo won inclusion in the March 2014 Eye on Fine Art Photography magazine (page 24) in the Mad Hatters & Crazy Chapeaux Contest.
Barbie served on the Board of the Paint Creek Center for the Arts in Rochester, Michigan and taught marketing at the Detroit- area Barbizon School and Oakland Community College.
Now, living in Florida, she is an exhibiting member of the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County, FL, was named their Artist of the Month in May of 2015, and is booked through 2016 in their Art in Public Places Program.
