Spotlight on Mitchell Kanashkevich

While we all aspire to take stunning photos, I believe that we we can learn and be inspired by looking at the works of experienced professional photographers. In this first article we put the spotlight on Mitchell Kanashkevich.

Mitchell Kanashkevich is a freelance travel and documentary photographer. He travels the world and shoots personal projects as well as travel related stories and stock photos for Getty and Corbis Images.

Mitchell’s main passion lies in capturing disappearing ancient cultures and the human condition in unique, challenging situations. His work has appeared in some of the world’s top photography magazines, on book covers, and in ad campaigns. Much of his travel/documentary photography is represented by Getty Images, and has made its way into private photo collections around the world.

Mitchell also writes eBooks, mostly in collaboration with “Craft & Vision” as well as “Digital Photo School”.

You can learn more about him on his website, where you will also have the opportunity to buy two of his ebooks in one transaction.
